Your own wood dock, a small sandy beach, stone steps to the water, and a screened porch with a hanging swing bed set the tone the moment you arrive. Come in summer for the swimming and boat cruises, in fall for the foliage and the wood stove, in winter for Gunstock and cocoa on the porch.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Everyone gets a real bed. The main-level king master has a log-style bed, a wall-mounted TV, and a private 3/4 ensuite with a double vanity. Two top-floor bedrooms each hold a queen with a ceiling fan and share a full bath with a tub-and-shower combo. The walk-out lower level adds a third queen and a twin room, with a half bath behind a barn door. Beds: 1 King, 3 Queens, 2 Twins. Four bathrooms in all, with generous tankless hot water and fresh linens and towels provided throughout.

Kitchen and dining

Built for a full house: light wood cabinetry, a large island with bar stools, a stainless French-door refrigerator, an electric range and oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. A dedicated coffee bar has its own mini fridge, coffee makers, and kettle, so early risers can get going without waking the house. Gather at the dining table for about six, then spread onto the deck and porch.

Living rooms and game space

Two places to gather. The main-level living room is the heart of the home, centered on a wood-burning stove that makes it just as cozy in October and January as it is in July, with a flat-screen TV, big windows pulling in the lake light, and a foosball table upstairs for a little friendly competition. Downstairs, a second living room opens through sliding doors to the lakeview patio and holds a Pac-Man arcade cabinet loaded with retro games, the spot where the kids and the young-at-heart disappear for hours. Two living areas mean the group can split between a movie by the fire and a tournament downstairs.

Outside

This is the hero. A private dock on quiet Pickerel Cove for swimming and morning coffee, a sandy beach for the little ones, a screened porch with a swing bed and high-top table, an open deck with a grill, a stone-paver lakeview patio off the walk-out, a fire pit for evening s'mores, and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Bring your own kayaks and there is a rack ready for them.

This is a three-level home with bedrooms on all levels, so it suits guests comfortable with stairs, though the main-level king master lets anyone avoid them. No smoking and no pets, please. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM out of respect for our lakeside neighbors. Contactless self check-in and professional cleaning between stays. For security, there are exterior cameras at the driveway, doors, and lakeside; there are no cameras inside the home. The lakefront, dock, and beach are private to the home. Bring your own kayaks and life jackets; a rack is provided.
